Tour Overview

Tanzania is well known for the Annual Wildebeest Migration as well as endless open savanna grasslands filled with a variety of wildlife. Tanzania’s has some of the oldest and most the popular national parks that are also listed as one of the world heritage sites. This 12 days Wildebeest Migration Safari takes you experience the great migration as millions of animals including wildebeests, zebras and Thomson’s gazelles trailed by several predators match across this vast savanna land. Also known as ‘the Garden of Eden’, the Ngorongoro Crater which is an extinct volcano is home to a very high number of African wild animals.

Day 01: Arusha – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha or from Kilimanjaro International Airport and proceed for lunch in Arusha Town. After lunch drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor for Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. L.D

Day 02: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart for half-day tour of the crater floor.  Return to your lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge – B.L.D

Day 03: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. En route visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered.   Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge – B.L.D

Day 04: Serengeti National Park

All day spent in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives.  Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge – B.L.D

Day 05: Serengeti National Park – Lake Manyara National Park

Breakfast at your lodge, then drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of the Rift Valley’s numerous alkaline lakes, which apart from its abundant bird life, is known for its tree-climbing lions.  Arrive for lunch at your lodge.  Afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. B.L.D

Day 06: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha – Nairobi – Departure

After breakfast drive to the town of Arusha for lunch. After lunch drop off at Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight back home. Our Airport Representative will re-confirm your onward flight, and assist you at check-in.
